Survivor Claims

If you have a deceased family member who worked at one or more of the covered Department of Energy Facilities during a covered time period, you may be eligible to receive compensation as a Survivor under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program.

 

Coverable Illnesses can include (but are not limited to):

  •  Cancers

  •  COPD

  •  Asbestosis

  • Chronic Beryllium Disease

  • Pulmonary fibrosis

  • Silicosis

  • Parkinson's disease

  • Neuropathy

  • Kidney disease and other occupational-related conditions. 


Monetary benefits up to 400k are available for eligible survivors. Survivors may include eligible spouse, children, grandchildren, and parents of the covered employee.
